When you wake up you a view like this, you get pretty desperate to get out on the water. After debating between a few excursion options, we settled on snorkeling. This could've proven to be problematic, because my boyfriend cannot swim! But everything worked out great. We ended up snorkeling with another family in town for a wedding with a lot of young children.

I didn't wear a life jacket but I had to suit up in solidarity for a fun picture. I'd never been snorkeling before, but it was beautiful! I saw all kinds of colorful fish. The warm, clear water and low salinity made this a perfect place for snorkeling. Thankfully, the boyfriend survived the snorkeling. (Adding signing him up for swimming lessons to my mental to do list because this cannot continue on our vacations.)
I was sunburnt like a lobster at this point in our trip!
