Aaaand...another year is here! Except this time we are starting a fresh new decade! I can't believe how quickly the years start to fly by, it seems like yesterday I was in school, now here I am going on four years out of graduate school. I'm excited to see what this year will bring. I spent the evening with a big buffet of food, margaritas, movies and watching the ball drop. (hey, it was cold outside!)
I did have a pretty eventful New Years Day 2020! I woke up to a strangely cheerful text from my landlord (note the emojis)-
Because apparently my apartment was flooding our basement all night and I had no idea! I spent half the day hanging out waiting for repairmen to come fix my bathroom- an omen for my 2020?
Anyway after that, I did what everybody does on New Years Day and I hit the gym. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be (maybe all the resolution-makers start later in the month?) Here's to hoping this sticks for me too!
